As our living room begins to take shape, Joey and I have been itching to update our old coal-burning fireplace.  We love the historic wrought iron grate and semi-circle curvature, but the rest just looks rather blah.  That’s where some historic tiles come in.  We’re hoping to mix antique tiles or reproductions with newer pieces to create a timeless, yet updated look.  As I hit the internet for inspiration and some Victorian tile education, here are a few styles and combinations that caught my eye…
